Today is World Wildlife Day!
This day was established to celebrate the flora and fauna of our planet and to serve as a reminder that it is our collective responsibility to preserve and protect them. Preserving Earth’s biodiversity is essential to our well-being and our prosperity; the way we exist with wild animals and plants has a direct impact on critical aspects of our lives.
This year’s theme is Connecting People and Planet: Exploring Digital Innovation in Wildlife Conservation allowing us to reflect on the ways technology can serve the conservation and preservation of biodiversity.
To mark this day, we would like to highlight the work of ANIMA, an organisation that works tirelessly for the preservation and protection of the Greek fauna – we had the opportunity to support them in their cause and witness first-hand their remarkable achievements.
