International Day of Epidemic Preparedness 2023

With the Covid-19 pandemic not quite behind us, International Day of Epidemic Preparedness is as relevant as ever.

Strong health systems that can support and reach everyone affected by an epidemic, especially vulnerable populations, are essential. And that can only be achieved with collaboration across governments, regulatory bodies, and industry.

At Evnia, we contribute by assisting manufacturers to maintain life-sustaining and life-saving medical devices and IVDs to the market and/or to support their timely market access, ensuring that the supply chain remains unobstructed, which is vital, especially in emergencies.

During the Coronavirus outbreak, we had the opportunity to facilitate our clients’ innovative research towards emergency conformity assessment procedures and ensured that their diagnostic tests and medical equipment were compliant with the Regulations. It was an uncertain time, but goodwill and teamwork made it possible to have safe medical products on the market.

The recent pandemic taught us that when facing uncertainty, communication, and transparency can do wonders and that progress in times of crisis happens when everyone strives for the best and assumes their own responsibility.

As the saying goes, it pays to be prepared and we at Evnia are committed to doing our part; be always ready – no matter the circumstances- to ensure that the medical devices entering the market are safe and efficient and that they remain so throughout their lifecycle.
