Evnia initiates a Tree Plantation Program in Denmark, as part of our ongoing commitment to the environment.
Protecting the environment is our shared responsibility and, we are committed to do our part in reaching the United Nation’s Sustainable Goal nº 13: Take urgent action to combat climate change and its impacts and ensure that our planet is not only surviving but thriving.
This is why we are pleased to introduce our Tree Plantation Program!
Trees are sources of oxygen, they offset carbon emissions and are vital to the ecosystem as they promote biodiversity – they are home to insects, moss and fungi, and they provide shelter to small animals and birds. Trees are also helping the planet to cool down, reducing the effects of climate change and they are essential to preserving water and reducing the risk of floods and landslides.
Our Tree Plantation Program kicks off with 250 trees in Midtjylland, Denmark. We are thrilled to witness the difference these trees will make to the area, seeing them grow and watch as they turn an empty piece of land completely green!
We will continue to strive for a better and brighter future for our planet, and we are pledging to plant 100 trees every year!
