World Health Day 2026 : Together for Health. Stand with Science!
This year’s World Health Day theme is “Together for Health. Stand with Science,” aiming to launch a year-long campaign celebrating the power of scientific collaboration to protect the health of people, animals, plants, and the planet.

At the heart lies of the project lies the One Health approach, i.e., the recognition that human, animal, and environmental health are deeply interconnected, and that solutions must be too.
The urgency and unmet needs behind this call are clear. More than 4.5 billion people, over half of the earth’s population, still don’t have full access to essential health services.
Did you know?
• Practically, there is no such thing as a universal health access, as billions of people remain excluded due to cost, geography, or fragile systems
• Mental health remains a chronically underfunded and deeply stigmatized issue across all regions
• Non-communicable diseases, including heart disease, diabetes, and cancer, drive the majority of global deaths, yet prevention is still severely under-resourced.
• Antimicrobial resistance remains a silent crisis threatening to reverse decades of medical progress.
• Climate-driven health threats such as heatwaves and disease spread are reshaping global health risks and respective priorities for healthcare providers and policymakers.
Addressing these needs requires concrete action: sustained investment in public health infrastructure, open and equitable sharing of scientific data across borders, and rebuilding public trust in evidence-based medicine. Governments, scientists, health workers, and communities are all called to stand with science, choosing evidence, trusting facts, over misinformation and unsubstantiated claims. That’s the way to secure a healthier future for all. That’s also the mission Evnia is serving!
This April 7th, use #StandWithScience and #WorldHealthDay to join the global conversation.
